Italy is one of the principal producers in the world. The territory of the Lazio region has ideal climatic characteristics for the cultivation of kiwi, in fact it is a perfect combination avoiding the excessive warm of the South Italy and the considerable risk of North’s frosts. The soil is organoleptically favorable to this type of cultivation, some of our production sites are located in the area of the Pontine reclamation, which offers particularly rich and fertile land. Green kiwi is the most widespread variety while the spread of yellow kiwi dates back only to the early Nineties.
